Not many people would remember what was happening at IFD 10 years ago at the end of August but here is a refresher. Chief Hutt was stepping down to pursue a career with a nozzle company, which at the time seemed kind of silly since he was a "truckie", but he has done well with the transition. Chuck Davey was named the acting fire chief and his first duty as chief was to welcome aboard the 6 new full-time staff. Jory, Chuck, and Brent are all that remain of the original six that was hired. Way to go!!
